Flavour Layering 101 | How to Mix Vape Juices Like a Pro
Want to get more creative with your vape flavours? Flavour layering, or combining two or more vape juices, is a fun, low-cost way to customise your experience and rediscover old favourites in a new way.
Here’s how to blend vape juices like a pro.
Flavour layering means mixing different e-liquids together to create a more complex, unique vape flavour. Think strawberry + mint, or cola + lemon. It's simple, satisfying, and ideal for users who get flavour fatigue from using the same juice every day.
Use the same base type: Stick with 50/50 nic salts or bar salts for best results — don’t mix high-VG with nic salts.
Match nicotine strengths: If you're blending two 10mg liquids, your resulting mix will also be 10mg. Mixing different strengths can create inconsistent hits.
Mix small amounts first: Start by blending a few drops or half a tank to test your combo before committing.
-
Use flavourless base to tone down strong blends (if available)
-
Change flavours regularly to reset your palate (avoid vaper’s tongue)
-
Label DIY mixes so you remember what worked
Flavour layering is an easy, enjoyable way to personalise your vape routine — and it works especially well with bar salts and nic salts available at Time2Vape.
