E-Liquid

E-liquid (or "vape juice") is what powers your vape, a simple mix of vegetable glycerine (VG), propylene glycol (PG), flavouring and, usually, nicotine. Types of e-liquid

• Nicotine salt (nic salt): smooth even at higher strengths, with a fast nicotine hit; ideal for pod kits and mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping, and the most popular choice for people moving away from smoking.
• 10ml freebase e-liquid: classic TPD 10ml bottles in strengths from 0mg to 18mg, suited to MTL devices.
• Shortfills: larger 50ml and 100ml bottles of low- or zero-nicotine juice with room to add a nicotine shot, made for sub-ohm and direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping.
• Bar salts: nic salts that recreate popular disposable-vape flavours in a refillable 10ml bottle, for a cheaper, lower-waste alternative.

Choosing your nicotine strength

As a rough guide: 20mg/18mg suits heavier smokers (around a pack a day), 10 to 12mg suits lighter smokers, 3 to 6mg suits sub-ohm vapers chasing flavour and clouds, and 0mg is nicotine-free. If you're switching from cigarettes, a nic salt in 10mg or 20mg with a pod kit is the usual starting point.
